Are Interviews sufficient enough…

So jut got to nag….

Been to a few interviews and i really doubt if it is sufficient enough to really see a person as they are….questions can be predetermined and answers can be memorised…what are interviews really for then? If everything can just be played out like reading the script…

I am not nagging because i havent got any job…well i think not…i usually would assess myself after each interview what i said wrong and such….I a m hard working..willing to learn and have the attitude to work hard and give more than u expect…and i am jsut wondering why peoples wont hire me…yes i think my skills are not excellent but that can be built up..no one who isnt new in the industry knows everything…if can guarentee if u invest in me u will get higher returns then expected…

In an interview i showed the best that i can that i have the passion..the attitude and fire to work in this industry..but no one seems to care…

Along time…

I havent written anything in along time..but now i do again since i am looking for work i go through alot of things which i want to share with everyone..designers or not…

So i went to interviews lately…i could see the peoples that interview knows what they are doing..being passionate is another thing…i was chatting to a guy and he said being in advertising here the main thing is to do things quickly if u can then u are already in a quite good position in your job..meaning you won’t get fired…i kind of feel as a creative that productivity is overpowering creativity…is that suppose to happen or is it the culture of this place…

I kind of started to think the way i imagined the industry to be and the actual is so different. Its not about doing good work its about doing alot of work to make money…locals dont appriciate actual design work but will go for lower quality work…And the industry seems overly client orientated…of course clients get their say but they should trust designers..seems like they are just using creatives to execute their idea and dont need any designer input other than doing as their told……the guy who interviewed me said its very sad doing advertising…

As I start to find jobs i find it very hard since peoples in the industry wont hire newbies….im wondering how the industry will keep rolling if peoples reject newbs…..i am hard working, passionate, and willing to learn i think which are good traits what i am waiting for is a chance..and im going out to find my chance…peoples seem to be too busy to take any notice of me since everyone is so busy they dont have the time to listen to a nobody…

Back and loaded

Back on track on my career road. Trying to get some more freelance work happening and also if possible an internship. I think an internship is good because I get to know every aspects of the company. It would be good to understand it. This also gives me chance to have a look at what I like doing and also get to learn a range of skills from my future mentors. Really pumped up and get excited about. But it do get disapointed sometimes because I havee been trying to look for the job i like for a year now but I won’t give up. I believe that I can do it!

Think

Hmm. I think the best way to have good designs is not to go rampaging around looking for designs. Sometimes stepping out of the design line sometimes gives more interesting results.

I find looking at peoples work just makes me think of them alot and have the urge of copying them in a similar way. But everyone likes to be unique. I will just look at some interesting products look at fashion, food and something else.

If I really can’t think of an idea i rather go out for a walk than sitting infront of the computer. My teacher said there is no right or wrong in design just depends on what people want and there is no super designer. I feel like i am in a fantasy world, everything is like a dream and unclear.

The start.

This is the start of my career as a freelance multimedia designer. I thought the best way was to get a blog up with my works. Just wanna get out there and start earning some cash!! I have decided to upload my works soon enough when i get some and build my portfolio up. Trying to juggle university studies as well as a part- time job. But nothing is going to stop me from doing what i am passionate about.
